#FREE 3ds Max 2016 New Features #3D + Animation #3ds Max

3ds Max 2016 has arrived. In this course, Aaron F. Ross covers the usability, interoperability, and cinematography improvements that make this an exciting release for 3D artists and animators alike. He’ll cover working with start-up templates, importing and exporting Alembic data, and mesh smoothing with OpenSubdiv, but also the new camera features, such as the Physical Camera, which can mimic the exposure, depth of field, motion blur, and tilt-shift perspective corrections of a real-world camera, and the Camera Sequencer, which allows animators to cut between cameras and trim clips nondestructively. Watch to find out how to incorporate these enhancements into your 3D workflow.

Instructor’s Welcome Note:

– Welcome to 3ds Max 2016 New features, I’m Aaron F. Ross. In this release of Autodesk 3D modeling and animation software, we see enhancements in usability, interoperability with other programs and particularly in cinematography. With the physical camera, we can easily simulate the optical properties of any real world camera, including exposure, depth of field and motion blur and even tilt-shift perspective correction.
The camera sequencer is like a virtual TV studio where we can cut between cameras. For each shot in the sequence, we have independent control over scene lighting and materials. These exciting new tools and more await us in 3ds Max 2016 New Features.
