Using a simple studio setup, we’ll see how to achieve interesting effects with standard 3ds Max lights. No scene is complete without materials, so we’ll explore the Slate Material Editor for shading and texturing. We’ll examine our options for hardware and software rendering, render an animated sequence, and apply special effects such as motion blur, indirect illumination, and depth of field.
