(upbeat music) – Howdy, I’m Carrie Dils and welcome to WordPress Mobile Solutions. In this course, we’ll take a look at some different plugins you can use to quickly make your WordPress powered site look better on mobile devices. All without using any code. I’ll start by showing you what it means to have a mobile friendly site and then walk you through a quick test of your own website. From there, we’ll take a look at the JetPack mobile theme plugin, that allows you to activate a ready-made mobile theme and configure some basic display options for your content.
Then, we’ll take a look at the free version of the popular WPtouch plugin, which also allows you to apply a mobile theme as well as configure a variety of more advanced display options. We’ll also cover the additional features available in the paid version of the WPtouch plugin, called WPtouch Pro. Finally, we’ll talk about the pros and the cons of using a mobile plugin versus a responsive theme. Having a mobile friendly website is no longer just a nice to have feature, it is a must for modern websites. And I’m here to help you make that happen.
