#FREE Logic Pro X New Features #Audio + Music #Logic Pro

Every new release of Logic is eagerly awaited. But 10.1 and, as of September 2015, 10.2 are major leaps forward, especially for sound designers, EDM and hip-hop producers, and beat makers. This course gives you a preview of the new features, as well as shortcuts for integrating them into your production workflow as quickly as possible.
Join Scott Hirsch as he dives into Logic 10.2’s powerful new synth workstation, Alchemy. From there, you’ll be guided through all the key new features available in the newest 10.2 feature set, including enhancements to Drum Machine Designer, new arrangement marker techniques, and techniques to back up and share your Logic projects with the outside world using the groundbreaking new integration with Gobbler and Apple Connect. Your workflow will be improved creatively as well, with a look at new overlapping recording modes for both cycle and non-cycle modes. With regard to the 10.1 release, Scott will explore to the ten new drummer personalities and the new Drum Machine Designer, as well as the improved Retro Synth and the brand-new Mellotron software instrument, powerful new MIDI editing and sequencer features in the revamped Piano Roll Editor, and the enhanced Mixer (now with VCA faders and easy viewing of your Track Stack components). You’ll see these and many more enhancements that make Logic Pro 10.1 and 10.2 instant, must-have upgrades.

Instructor’s Welcome Note:

(gentle music) – Welcome to Logic Pro 10 New Features. I’m Scott Hirsch and I’ll be your author and guide as we explore all the new features available in the most current Logic update, Logic Pro 10.2. As we’ve seen in the last two point releases, Logic 10.1 and 10.2, Apple is very serious about not only improving usability, but also providing extremely (soft music) powerful instrument and sound additions with each incremental release.
In 10.2 we are gifted something truly extraordinary, an incredible new synth workstation called Alchemy. In addition, with the 10.2 release there were some other significant new features, many new loops and sounds, as well as enhancements to the app that will keep your workflow smooth and as creative as possible. (bumping music) I’ll also be going over some powerful additions to the audio and MIDI editing and recording workflows, as well as some awesome new ways to connect Logic to the outside world, including integration with Gobbler.
Because Apple has been so generous with these point releases we structured this course to be updated incrementally with each new significant upgrade. This first chapter will cover 10.2 and the second chapter will include the new features content that I covered for the 10.1 update. In the future (upbeat music) the course will continue to be updated in this fashion as new releases are posted. For now, stay tuned for a detailed look at some significant new features in Logic Pro 10.2.
